WOODROW W. BROWN, 80. of Marion Center RD 1, died Tuesday, Oct 2. 1978, at his home in Rayne Township.

A son of Elmer and Annie Hirshberger Brown, he was born Oct. 13, 1918, in Johnstown.

Mr. Brown was a member of DAV Chapter 20, Indiana. He had resided at his present address for the past 16 years, and had served in the US Army as a Master Sergeant during World War II and in the Korean Conflict.

Surviving are his wife. Dolores S. Brown, three sons David and Daniel, both at home; Joseph, Indiana; a daughter, Mrs. William (Beverly) Costello, Marion Center; five grandchildren; a brother Charles Brown, Armagh; and two
sisters Nellie Brown, Black Lick and Mrs. Elizabeth Frederick, Smicksburg.

Friends will be received from 3:30-9 pm today at Robinson-Lytle's, Indiana, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Fnday, Oct 5, with the Rev. Walter Stuchell officiating

Interment will follow in Marion Center Cemetery, Marion Center.

Military services will be conducted at the graveside.
