Martha Mildred Brosius, 88, Ringgold, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at Laurel Brooke Landing, Brookville. She was born April 16, 1920, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Wayne B. and Eva Jane (Burkett) Evans.
Jan. 11, 1941, Mrs. Brosius married Leroy Brosius, who preceded her in death March 10, 1998.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Ringgold and the Ladies' Aid Society.
Surviving relatives include a son, Jerry L. Brosius of Harrisburg; a granddaughter, Jessica Brosius of Harrisburg; two sisters, Lois Caldwell and Doris Startzell, both of Brookville; and two brothers, Clyde Evans of Brookville and Gerald Evans of Punxsutawney.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a twin brother, Wayne Evans; a brother, Mildford Evans; and two sisters, Minnie Furman and Alma Pifer.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney, with Pastor Joan Rousseaux officiating.
Interment will be in Ringgold Cemetery.
