MRS WILBUR BISH DROPPED DEAD ON SIDEWALK TUESDAY- Center Street Resident Succumbed to Heart Attack at Age 77 Years.
Mrs Wilber Bish, 77, of Center Street, who dropped dead Tuesday at 10:45 a.m. on East Mahoning Street in front of Barclay Square, will be laid to rest Friday afternoon in Center Hill Cemetery near Panic after services beginning at 2 o'clock in the Grace Methodist Church with Rev. I. G Koonce officiating.
Mrs. Bish had a heart attack as she was walking in front of Barclay Square while on a shopping trip and dropped to the sidewalk. The Pifer Funeral Home Ambulance was called and took her to Adrian Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The deceased had no identification marks on her clothing and her pocketbook contained no cards or other means of identifying her. Worried by Mrs. Bish's absence and learning that a woman had died suddenly on the street, Mr Bish went to the Pifer Funeral Home and identified his wife at about
2 p.m.
Mrs. Bish was born March 26, 1868 in Knox Township, a daughter of John and Saloma Reitz Reinard. She was married twice, the first time to John W. O'Harah, deceased and the second time to Wilbur Bish. She was a resident of this city for 11 years and was a member of the Grace Methodist Church.
She leaves her husband and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Frank O'Hara, of Reynoldsville, R. D;
Mrs. Roy Armagost, of Tionesta, R. D. 1;
Eugene Bish, of Shippenville;
John Bish, of Delmont;
Dale Bish, of New Bethlehem;
Guy Bish, of Frostburg;
William Bish, of Reynoldsville,
and Mrs. Walter Johnson, of Punxsutawney, R. D. 5.
The deceased will lie in her home, 302 Center Street, until Friday when she will be taken to the church for funeral services.
