Katherine Baumstarck, 84, of Lovell, Wyo., died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, in Cody, Wyo, after several heart attacks and reoccurring cancer at the West Park Long Term Care Center in Cody.

Katherine was born to Anton and Ida Schaff on May 19, 1921, in Huff. She married Joseph A. Baumstrack on June 10, 1946, in Linton.

Katherine belonged to the St. Anthony's Christian Mothers, Catholic Order of Foresters and the Senior Citizen's Center. She was a housekeeper and baby sitter for many years. She will be missed by her many friends and family members.

Katherine is survived by her sons, Dr. Joseph (Kimberly) Baumstarck of Lovell, and Gerard (Linda) Baumstarck of Deaver, Wyo., and seven grandchildren, Cassie, Bryon, Misty, Trini, Marika, T.J. and Cindy Jo Baumstarck; her half-brother, Eugene (Palma) Nagel, stepbrothers Leo (Ann) Nagel, Alphonse (Alice) Nagel and stepsister, Cecilia (John ) Feist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her infant son, her husband, her sisters, Eve Schaff, Anna Schaff, Rose Schaff and Pauline (Lawrence) Senger, stepfather Rochus Nagel, her stepbrothers, Harry (Phil) Nagel, Anton (Katherine) Nagel and Edmond (Henrietta) Nagel.

Katherine was laid to rest in St. Anthony Cemetery next to her beloved husband in Linton.
