LOCKPORT-A longtime Lockport
resident, Mrs. Emelia Leppien, 89,
of 51 Cleveland Place, died Wed-
nesday (February 9,1966) at home.
Mrs. Leppien was born in Pendleton
April 5, 1876, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Julius Bartz. She was a former
resident of Wolcottsville and lived
here the last17 yeans.
On October 30, 1898 she married
William G. Leppien who died in 1955.
Survivors include two daughters,
Mrs. Carl (Mabel) Parmele and Mrs.
Elizabeth Wolters, both of Lockport;
a son, Franklin W. Leppien, of
Akron; three sisters, Mrs. Lydia Owen,
of Middleport, Mrs. Mary Coulson, of
Gasport, and Mrs. Gertrude Britton, of
Lockport; five grandchildren; 15 great
grandchildren, and several nieces and
nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday
at the Lange Funeral home. Rev. Hubert
Huth, pastor of St.Michael's Lutheran
Church of Wolcottsville, will officiate.
Burial will be in Mountain Ridge Cemetery.
