TONAWANDA — Jack G. Ishman, 82, of North Tonawanda, entered into rest, April 16, 2010, at VAMC, in Buffalo. Born June 6, 1927, in Knoxville, PA to the late Byron and Margaret (nee Brooks). Mr. Ishman was a WWII Veteran of the Navy. He was a member of the VFW Frontiersmen Post #7545 of Tonawanda and the American Legion Stephen Sikora Post #1322. After his retirement from General Electric, he volunteered for many years at the North Tonawanda Food Pantry. Husband of the late Josephine (nee LoPiccolo).
Father of Julianna (Deacon Michael) and Jack J.; grandfather of Pasquale, Dominic, Carmela (Jason) and Josephine; brother of Ronald (Bonnie), Gerald (Shirley), Betty (Larry) Dilts, Gary, Nelson (Laura) and the late Dolly (Leno) Judice, June Smith and Barbara (Doyle) Bishop; also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
