Hollis Capper was born Hollis Shales. Hollis was a twin and he and his sister were only 2 weeks old when their mother passed away. The twins were then brought back to the Defiance/Paulding, OH area by their father (which is where the family lived) and his sister was given to an aunt and uncle and Hollis was given to a neighbor family to be raised. Hollis had contact with his large family in the area, but he took the name of his adopted family. Anyone from this branch of the family may feel free to contact me for further info. This information took me several years to track down and piece together.

Adopted parents George Capper 39470521 and Harriet Boor Capper 39470534.
