Obituary in Gadsden Times, Thurday 28 Aug 2014 page A7 - Lynda (Freeman Williams) Tillison - Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, at Collier-Butler Chapel for Lynda Freeman Williams Tillison, 73, of Rainbow City, who passed away Monday, Aug. 25, 2014. Chaplain Richard Bradford will officiate. Burial will be at Hope Well Cemetery in St. Clair County. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mrs. Tillison was a longtime resident of the Riddles Bend Community. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Billy R. Williams; great-grandsons, Cameron Williams, Conner Williams and Camron Leslie; parents, Dan Harris and Cleverdell Calhoun Freeman; brothers, Thomas D.H. Freeman, David Joel Freeman and Danny Ray Freeman; and son-in-law, Vincent Mitchell.
She is survived by her children, Brenda (Ronnie) Robershaw, Sheila (Timothy) Holland, Pamela Mitchell, Daniel (Felicia) Williams, Melinda (John) Bray and Ruby (Ronald) Gray; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Special thanks to Gentiva Hospice and Nurse Michelle Sumners.
The family will accept friends from noon to 2 p.m. Friday prior to the service.
