Sarah Elizabeth Arnold, age 71, died Sunday, February 17, 1940, at Rudy, Arkansas.
She was born September 24, 1868, in the Rudy community, the daughter of William Thomas and Susan Arabelle (Shipley) Crabtree.
She was a lifelong resident of Crawford county.
She and William Dee Arnold were married January 24, 1892 in Crawford County.
She was a member of the Maple Shade Methodist church near Alma.
She was predeceased by her parents; a son, Henrt Thomas Arnoldl and a daughter, Ruth
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Julia and Sarah; a brother, Miles Narhan Crabtree; ten grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral Service was at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at the home, the Reverand Fred Lark, of Alma, Methodists minister, officiated.
Burial was in the Oliver Springs Cemetery, near Hobbtown.
Arrangements are by the Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
