Alice A. Crowe,77, formerly of Oxford, Kansas, passed away Wednesday morning, March 12, 2014 at Cottonwood Village in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Alice was born April 6, 1936 in Coolidge, Kansas, she was the daughter of James M. and Mary Mildred. (Whittaker) Cook. She was raised and received her elementary education in Coolidge, Kansas and later moved to Lamar, Colorado where she went through her Sophomore year. The family moved to Winfield in 1951 where Alice went through her Junior and Senior year and graduated from Winfield High School in 1953.

Alice was united in marriage to James R. Crowe on January 1, 1953 in Kansas.

Alice loved her Lord Jesus and attended the Baptist Church. She enjoyed bible study, yard work and had a beautiful Alto Voice and loved to sing.

Her family includes:Her children: Kerry E. Ronk and husband Randall of Grand Canyon, AZ. Debbie L Miller and husband Barry of Oxford, Rhonda K. Crowe/Adams of Oxford and Lori J. Thacker and husband Ed of Benson AZ. A son David Crowe and wife Cari of Winfield.

Her Grandchildren: Rebekah Miller Johnson of Phoenix, Kouri Ronk of Flagstaff, Heath Miller of Springfield, Mo. Jason Ronk of Wichita, Heather Metzger of Phoenix, Joshua E. Adams of Wichita, Ian Ronk of New York, Elisabeth Potucek of Hillsboro, Ks, Megan Hege of Benson, AZ, Steve and Benjamen Thacker of Benson, AZ, Elijah and Gavin Crowe of Winfield. Four step grandchildren: Mary Adams of Winfield, Brandon Burns of Wichita, Darci Kier of Winfield and Brandi Carson of Derby Kansas.

Her Brothers: James M Cook Jr. and wife Charlotte of Eads Colorado, Lloyd Cook of Live Oaks, Florida and Gary Cook and wife Billie of Arkansas City.

In addition to her husband and parents, Alice was preceded in death by her son James Wesley, two grandchildren, Wesley J.R. Dean Adams and Rachel Beth Adams and one step granddaughter Martha Jewel Adams, four brothers and five sisters.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Highland Cemetery in Winfield, Kansas. Friends may call at Miles Funeral Service on Tuesday evening March 18, 2014 from 4 to 8. The family will greet visitors that evening.
