Elizabeth Betty Christenson, 74, Bemidji, died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, at home.

Elizabeth Ann Schultz was born Apr. 19, 1926, the daughter of John and Madeline (Verhasselt) Schultz, in St. Charles, Ill., where she attended school. She worked for Moline-Malbo Co., and later for Howell's manufacturing, making airplane wings for World War II aircraft. She married Earl Christenson on May 31, 1947, in St. Charles. She worked for Holley Products and part time for Dukanes. In 1969, they moved to Bemidji.

She is survived by her husband; sons, Kent (MaryJo) and Jeff (Vicky), both of Bemidji; daughters, Pam (Wayne) Hochrein, Eden Prairie, Minn., Nancy (Jeff) Long, Bemidji, and Janice (Greg) Sande, Puposky, Minn.; 11 grandchildren; and sisters, Lil Feltgen, Geneva, Ill., Fran Arthur, Bemidji, and Joan (Bud) Shales, Elgin, Ill.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Tony.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, St. Philip's Catholic Church, Bemidji.

Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Cease Family Funeral Home, Bemidji, and one hour before services in the church.

Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, Bemidji.
