Paul F. Janulewicz, 92 of Loup City, NE died Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013 at St. Josaphat's Catholic Church in Loup City with Father Martin Egging officiating.

Burial will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery in Loup City with military honors. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at St. Josaphat's Catholic Church with a Vigil Service and Knights of Columbus Rosary held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

Paul F. Janulewicz was born July 15, 1920 on a farm near Litchfield, NE to Floyd K. and Helen (Kwiatkowski) Janulewicz.

He graduated from Wiggle Creek High School in 1939.

He went to Omaha to work for Independent Metal Company as a welder from 1941 to 1942.

He served in the United States Army Air Force from February, 1942 in Italy and Africa until his discharge in October, 1945.

He married Phyllis Rewolinski in July, 1943 and made their home in Omaha, NE till March, 1946 when they then moved to a farm south of Loup City.

Phyllis died March, 1963.

He married Arlene (Bonczynski) Jarzynka July 22, 1967 and they made their home in Loup City.

In November, 1968 he began working for the Loup City Post Office as a clerk and retired from the Post Office in 1994.

He was a member of St. Josaphat's Catholic Church, Loup City American Legion Post #48., Veterans of Foreign Wars and Knights of Columbus.

His life-long love was farming.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene of Loup City, NE; son, Ken and wife Phyllis of Loup City, NE; daughter, Patti Ann and husband, Jerry Kowalski of Loup City, NE; step-son, Jerry and wife, Carol Jarzynka of Loup City, NE; step-daughter, Christy and husband, Keith Reihe of Vail, CO; sisters, Wanda Klimek of Loup City, NE; Eloise Riley of Morrison, CO; eight grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother, Sylvester; three brothers, Cash, Ray, and Leo and one sister, Barbara Moraczewski.
