Edith H. Gibson, 94, of Batavia, formerly of Geneva, died Oct. 11, 2007, at Michealsen Health Center in Batavia.
Graveside services will be held Oct. 18 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Geneva. There is no visitation.
Mrs. Gibson was born Oct. 5, 1913 in Chicago.
Geneva Fortnightly Assembly, which was held at Geneva Golf Club, was her love. She taught many Fox Valley area children introduction to dance and social etiquette. She was also a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Geneva.
She is survived by her sister, Besty Hoerr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, and her son, John (Bart).
