Twyla Wave was born May 29, 1922 in Winner, South Dakota to August and Josie Mary (Hysell) Kappelman.
She married Abel Medearis on Sept. 25, 1943 in Winner, South Dakota. To this union one child was born. They were later divorced. On July 10, 1948, she married Raymond Anthony at Winner, South Dakota. They later divorced.
Twyla's parents, brothers and sisters called her "Sis". Her nieces and nephews called her "Auntie". She will always be Auntie to me.
Twyla was preceded in death by her parents, August and Josie Mary Kappelman; two brothers, William Kappelman and Clyle (Kap) Kappelman; and one sister, Dorothy (Raymond) Alloway.
She is survived by her son, Dennis; and one sister, Ila May (Anton) Rehak; one granddaughter Patty.
