Dr. Casper A. Cobb, 80, died Friday, May 10, 1968 in a Madison hospital after a brief illness. Dr. Cobb was a Sun Prairie dentist for 50 years. He was a graduate of Marquette University and attended Northwestern University. He served as a lieutenant in the Medical Corps during World War I, was a life member of the Dane County State of the American Dental Society, and served as president of the Dane County Dental Society. He also was a member of the Sun Prairie Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, Madison Consistory, Zor Shrine, American Legion, 40 and 8 Club, and was a charter member of the Lions Club. He is survived in Madison by a son, James C., 727 Jenifer St. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Tuschen Funeral Home, with masonic services. Military services will be conducted at the grave. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home. WSJ 5/11/1968
