Mrs. Lyle B. (Marie) Cobb, 101, died on March 31, 1994 at Sun Prairie Health Care Center. She was born in Waunakee, WI on Dec. 22, 1892, the daughter of Nicolaus and Elizabeth Zeigler Kopp. She was married on Dec 6, 1913 to Dr. Lyle Cobb, who died on July 29, 1972. Marie was the librarian for the Sun Prairie Public Library for 40 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, United Methodist Church, the Historical Society, and the Colonial Club, all of Sun Prairie. She is survivied by three grandsons, Allan (Roselyn) of Stevens Point, Robert (Connie) of Martinsville, IN, and Michael (Vicky) of Akron, OH; six great-grandhildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Dr. Paul Cobb of Lake Mills on March 12, 1977; a daughter-in-law, Eleanor Cobb; her parents; four sisters; and three brothers. A family memorial service will take place at a later date. The Tuschen-Newcmer Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
