MONTGOMERY, RALPH MOSES —

Of Jackson, went home to be with his Lord at home under the loving care of his wife Kathryn and family on Sunday, December 3, 2006 at the age of 84. Ralph was born on October 14, 1922 to Burt and Elizabeth Montgomery in Onoway, MI. He is survived by his wife of 61 years; daughter, Patricia (Charles) Schultz; son, Ralph D. (Penny) Montgomery; grandchildren, Jeff Schultz, Lisa (John) Moles, Amy (Zac) Williams, Terry (Patti) Montgomery; and great-grandchildren, Jacob and Jordan Tuttle, Alyssa and Abigail Montgomery, and Jack, Caleb and Sarah Williams. Ralph was a World War II veteran and was proud to serve his country. He worked at NY Central as a wood work machinist, retired from Bona Fide Concrete, was a Chevy man and an avid Tiger fan. He enjoyed working his land, was very particular about his yard and flowers, especially the roses. He loved to travel, taking his grandchildren on trips and spending time at the cottage up north. He was gifted with many talents — woodworking, mechanics, carpentry, building two homes. He loved people, was always positive with a great sense of humor, and offered a helping hand to others. He loved the Lord and had a part in building three churches, and was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church. He was a dedicated husband, an awesome dad, and a fabulous grandfather. He will be loved, treasured and missed forever. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Wesleyan Church on Friday, December 8, 2006 at 11:00 a.m.with the Reverends Keith Hinton, Vaughn Jensen and Ned McGrady officiating. Interment at Roseland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, December 7, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m and also at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions in Ralph's memory may be directed to the Trinity Wesleyan Church. The family would like to thank Drs. Axelson, Trimble, Boxer and Hirth for their outstanding care, his surgeon Dr. Kulkarni, VA Dr. Wagner and Foote Home Care Services. WETHERBY FUNERAL HOME 402 Wildwood Ave. 517-787-7511
