Charles was the son of John Dunkel Deisher and Hannah Kohler.
He married on June 20, 1896, to Elizabeth B. Dietrich.
They appear in the 1900 census of Kutztown, Berks County, Pennsylvania, in the home of her parents. He was a day laborer.
In 1910 through 1930 they were in Maxatawny, Berks County, Pennsylvania. He was a foreman in a knitting mill in 1910, a farmer in 1920, and a press operator in a knitting mill in 1930.
They had no children but had an adopted daughter, Marguerite I. Deisher, (ca.1895-ca.1978). She married to Ford Calhoun and lived in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
