Jewel "Judy" Gaylord, 80, of Houston, passed away October 25, 2007 in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Gaylord was born July 26, 1927 in Dallas, Texas to Henry & Mattie Winn. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Leslie Gaylord, Jr. of Houston; daughter, Darla Riggs of Houston; grandchildren, Dusti Riggs Hopkins, Frank Riggs and Danny Riggs; and great-grandsons, Christopher Hopkins and Daniel Riggs; by brother, Sam Winn of Jefferson City, Missouri; as well as other loving family members and a host of friends. Services celebrating her life were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29 Carter Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Durham officiating. She was laid to rest in Forest Park East, Webster, Texas under the direction of Carter Funeral Home.
