ODELL - Helen Wykes, 78, of Pontiac, formerly of Odell, died at 5:40 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 22, 1990) at Saint James Hospital, Pontiac.
She was cremated. There will be no visitation or funeral. Duffy Funeral Home, Odell, was in charge of arrangements.
She was born May 22, 1911, in Saunemin, a daughter of Louis and Pearl Lynn Huber. She married Otis Wykes Feb. 5, 1934, in Saunemin. He survives.
Other survivors include one son, William, Odell; one sister, Phyllis Steinlicht, Saunemin; and two grandchildren.
One sister preceded her in death.
Mrs. Wykes owned and operated Helen's Beauty Shop in Odell for 30 years.
