Sergeant James Bacon is Daughters of American Revolution Ancestor #A004401  Born October 1, 1733, in Middletown, Hartford county Connecticut, he married Martha Jewell and made his residence in Brimfield, Massachusetts.  He served under Captains HEALEY & CHARLES, and Lieutenant Colonel ROBINSON, and Colonel LEARNED.  He appears on the Massachusetts Rolls of Soldiers and Sailors, Volume #1, page 413
