Earl Carr, 78, died at noon Friday, June 28, 2002 at Severin Health Care Center in Benton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 1 at Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort. Burial will be in Denning Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 9 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Carr was born March 27, 1924, the son of Jessie and Goldie (Maddox) Carr.
He was retired from Bonifeld Trucking in West Frankfort.
He was a member of the teamsters and the Benton Elks Club.
Mr. Carr is survived by five daughters: Diane Mocaby, Benton, Karen (Robert) Hines, Benton, Earla Kay (?) Conner, Jamestown, J.Y., Janet
Carr, West Frankfort, and Carol (Denny) Bush, Royalton. 11 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Vivian King and wife, Geneva Ezell.
