In 1900 Will lived in Manhattan, New York, New York. In 1910 he lived in San Antonio Ward 7, Bexar, Texas and in 1917 during WWI Will was a resident of Boston, and his occupation was "aviation instructor."

By 1920 Will was living with his Aunt Annette & Uncle Norman Willard in Arlington, MA. He was then a salesman of electrical supplies.

In 1926 William Henry Willard married Helen. They had one child, Nancy J. Willard. 1930 - William, Helen and daughter Nancy were living in Santa Monica, CA. Willard was then working as an electrician at an aircraft works.
