Funeral Will Be on Thursday From St. Mary's Catholic Church

Adam Rithman, died at 12:30 o'clock last night at his home on the Hillsboro Road. His death was caused by kidney trouble, and injuries to his chest, sustained while at work on a railroad some time ago.
He was a sufferer from kidney trouble for many years, but was much improved at the time of the accident. Since that time his condition has been gradually declining. For the past two weeks his condition has been very serious.
The funeral will be held Thursday morning from the family residence, thence to St. Mary's Catholic Church at 9 o'clock. Rev. C. A. O'Reilly, pastor of the church will conduct the services. Interment will be in the [St. Mary's] Catholic Cemetery.
Mr. Rithman was born May 10, 1843 and died December 27, 1915. His birthplace was in Byron, Germany. He removed to this country when young and had been a resident of Edwardsville for many years. He formerly was a railroad man.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Mary Rithman and eight children:
