Married in 1897 to James Marion Gibbons Per 1900 Civil District Pickett County, Tenn. Census. I could not find any documentation that she was ever married to John Sams, the only documentation on ancestry was the Geneanet Community Trees Index, she was listed Catherine (Cathleen) Boles, and those are not 100% accurate. Katie maintained her maiden name - death certificate lists Katherine (Bowles).
