Hannah Carson, died July 23d, 1894, and would have been 75 years of age September 20th next.
Deceased was born in noted Bucks county, Pennsylvania, September 20th, 1819. Was married to Robert Carson in 1847, who passed on before her June 17th, 1866. She was the mother of nine children, six of whom survive her - three daughters and three sons. Mrs. Carson came to Kansas from Ohio in 1880 and for several years lived at Haysville, but later, becoming too feeble to live by herself, mad her home with her sons, the last year having lived in Oxford with her son, John Carson. Her remains were buried in the Wichita cemetery, in which city she had property and where she had resided for some time.
