Dora was the fifth child born to her parents. As a very small child, she moved with her parents to Roosevelt County, New Mexico where they homesteaded land. The family is found living there at the time of the 1910 census. In about 1912 her family moved to Johnston County, Oklahoma settling near Mannsville.
Dora married James Norton on 25 Nov 1923 in Johnston County. They were the parents of three children, two sons and a daughter. The eldest son died as a newborn infant. This marriage ended in divorce.
On 17 Feb 1956 Dora married Aubrey C. Gragg in Ardmore, Carter County, Oklahoma. He preceeded her in death.
Dora spent her last years in the home of her daughter in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
