Anthony, Jack E., 74, of Catoosa, left this life January 9, 2005. Jack was born February 6, 1930 in Muskogee, OK to Elic and Edna (Pratt) Anthony. He graduated from Muskogee High School in 1948, then joined the Army where he served during the Korean War. After returning from the war, Jack attended Oklahoma A&M University, graduating in 1956 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Jack married Edna Mathews in Muskogee in 1953. He later worked for and retired from PSO as an Electrical Engineer. Jack is survived by his wife, Edna of Catoosa; daughters, Janet Blackburn and her husband, Greg of Houston, TX, Jamie Dunn and her husband, Lyndell of Owasso, OK, and Jeanie Anthony of Catoosa; 3 granddaughters; 3 grandsons; brother, Gene Anthony and his wife, Minnie of Claremore, OK. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 12, 2005, Ridgecrest Baptist Church, with burial at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Jack's name to one of the following: Ridgecrest Baptist Church, The American Heart Association or St. Francis Hospice, Floral Haven, 252-2518.
