BURCHFIELD, Larry E., 56, died suddenly at his home Thursday, November 4, 2004. Larry was born in Okmulgee, OK, March 26, 1948 to Harold Eugene and Ann Naomi (Durant) Burchfield. He attended Central High School and entered the Marines. A Veteran of Viet Nam, he served in the 1st Battalion of the 5th Marines. After Viet Nam he worked as an Engineer for Southwestern Bell, retiring after 30 years. Larry married LaFonna (Fuson), February 23, 1993 in Tulsa, OK. Larry was an officer with the Post 577 VFW. Larry is survived by wife, LaFonna of the home; sons and daughter-in-law, Danny Burchfield and wife, Beronica of Tulsa and Allen Eaton, Tulsa; daughters, Alisha Widdoes and husband, Mike of Owasso, OK, Deanna Sanders and husband, Jody of Broken Arrow, OK; 10 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Danny and Gene Burchfield; and 4 sisters, Martha Ross, Wanda Logan, Peggy Tollison, Maxine Allen. Preceded in death by brother, Tom Burchfield. Service, 11 a.m., Monday, November 8, 2004, Moore's Southlawn Chape, 9350 E. 51st Street.
