Leona Genevieve Andrzejewski,
age 86, passed away peacefully at home, February 15, 2011. She was born September 9, 1924 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to the late John Joseph and Mary (Kubik) Sanocki.

Mrs. Andrzejewski was a lifelong resident of Belleville, MI and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She worked at the Ypsilanti Ford plant while raising her children. Leona enjoyed keeping up with the Tigers and the Red Wings. She liked to do crossword puzzles in her spare time and her more social hobbies were playing pinochle and bingo and going to the Sumpter Senior Center. Leona enjoyed dabbling in the garden. She was very devoted to her family and loved her grandchildren dearly.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 18, 2011 at David C. Brown Funeral Home in Belleville, MI, from 2PM to 8PM. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM. The final resting place will be Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Mercy Hospice or St. Anthony Catholic Church, and would be appreciated by the family.
