Dixie Lou Moser, 75, died Saturday, March 3, 2012, at her home in Riverton, WY.

A viewing was Monday, March 5, at the Davis Funeral Home in Riverton.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Manila, Utah. There will be a viewing one hour before the service at the church. Burial will follow the service in the Manila City Cemetery.

Dixie Lou Schofield was born May 26, 1936, in Manila, Utah, to Merlin Franklin Schofield and Lena Mercedes (Searle) Schofield. She grew up in Manila.

She married Eugene Clark Douglas on Dec. 24, 1952, in Manila. Nine children were born to that union. Mr. Douglas died June 1, 1979. She later married Carl V. Moser. They were married for 13 years before Mr. Moser died Feb. 13, 1998.

Mrs. Moser was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a member of the Red Hat Club in Riverton.

Her family said she enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, cooking and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Mrs. Moser moved to Riverton 11 years ago from Ft. Bridger where she had lived for nine years. She had also lived for many years in Manila, Utah, and in various other states where her first husband worked construction.

She is survived by four sons, Ed Douglas and wife Lois of Ogden, Utah, Duke Douglas of Riverton, Steve Douglas and wife Brenda of McKinnon, Utah, Dutch Douglas and wife Cara of Riverton; two daughters, Cindy Gothier and husband David of Riverton, Sandy Richins and husband Steve of Thermopolis; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leslie Schofield and wife Cindy of Manila, Utah, Wendell Schofield and wife Agnes of Pekin, Ind.; two sisters, Joyce Riggs of Boise, Idaho, and Florence Christianson and husband Dick of Manila, Utah.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Eugene Clark Douglas and Carl V. Moser; two sons, Kelly Douglas and Casey Douglas; a daughter, Sonya Douglas, and a brother, Don Schofield.
