Pettit February 6, 1960 in Stanwood,Washington.Bernice enjoyed quilting, doll making and donating her handy work to charity. She was also a foster parent to many children for 15 years.She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Southworth Ward.She is survived by herhusband Harold R. Pettit of Port Orchard, Washington; daughters - Penny Josephson of Burlington, Washington, and Elizabeth Davidson of Port Orchard, Washington, Deanna Hoyt of Olalla, Washington and Kathleen Duane of Port Orchard, Washington; sons - RandolphDuane of Seattle, Larry Graff of Templeton, California, Derick Pettit of Tacoma and David Pettit of Port Orchard, Washington; sisters - Gloria Blevins of Bass Lake, California; 36 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; and many Foster Children. She waspreceded in death by sisters - Betty Wilson, Geris Mulene, Rosalie Logston, and Ila Mae McDaniels.A visitation will be held at Rill Chapel of Port Orchard, Washington Friday December 27, 2002 from noon to 5:00 p.m.A funeral service will be held Saturday, December28, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Mullenix Road of Port Orchard, Washington.Interment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.
