Gerald Bohnett Williamston Born April 10, 1930 in Webberville, MI, to the late J. C. and Ethel (Hagman) Bohnett, and passed away on October 10, 2012 at the age of 82. Gerald retired from General Motors in 1986, after 34 years of service at the Milford Proving Grounds Engineering Group. He served in the Army during the Korean War, and was a member of the American Legion Post 296 in Williamston. He also was a lifetime member of VFW Post 6464 in Fowlerville. Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife, Clarice, who he married in September, 1977. He is also survived by two daughters, Susan (Craig) Holmes and Julie (John) Rocholl; two sons, Greg Bohnett and David (Leslie) Bohnett; ten grandchildren, Ben, Andrea, Brad, Chris, Daniel, Dennis, Doug, Tessa, Alex, and Brooke; and two great grandchildren, Cayden and Logan. He is also survived by two sisters, Darlene (Weldon) Parker and Mary Lou (Alan) Nemer. A Funeral Service will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Middle St., Williamston, MI, on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. on Monday, October 15, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Alchin Farm Cemetery, Webberville, MI. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes. On line condolences may be made at www.grwilliamston.com.
