Elva L. Augspurger died Tuesday (May 5, 1981) at St. James Hospital, Pontiac, Illinois.

Her funeral will be Thursday (May 7, 1981) at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, the Rev. Frank New officiating. Burial will be at Chenoa Cemetery, Chenoa, Illinois.

She was born on February 15, 1905 in Yuton, Illinois, a daughter of Frank and Rose (Malcolm) Vielhak.

She married Loyal Dale Augspurger on September 17, 1924 in Saybrook, Illinois. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons Marlow Augspurger and Gene Augspurger both of Chenoa, Illinois; three daughters, Donna Saffer, June Stalter and Karen Skaggs all of Chenoa, Illinois; a brother Harold Vielhak of Mackinaw, Illinois; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A brother and a son preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Chenoa United Methodist Church, Chenoa, Illinois and lived most of her adult life in the Chenoa, Illinois area.
