The funeral of Eleanor M. Timmerman, 83, of 632 W. Fifth St., Minonk, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Minonk. The Rev. Richard Olson will officiate. Burial will be in Minonk Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Calvert & Froelich Memorial Home Minonk Chapel and for one hour before the service Monday at the church.
Mrs Timmerman died at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday (April 9, 2003) at OSF Saint James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac.

She was born Jan. 3, 1920, in Manlius, the daughter of Fayette and Pearle Johnson Richards. She married Junior H. Timmerman on Sept. 20, 1941, in rural Dana. He died Feb. 15, 1977.
Mrs Timmerman was a member of the First Baptist Church in Minonk and the Women's Missionary Society of the church. She was a former school teacher and also a former member of the Home Extension. She and her husband farmed for many years in rural Dana.
