Lexington, TN - John Raymond Chumney, 64, retired owner and operator of Chumney Mobile Home Park, died Friday at the Lexington Methodist Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Pafford Funeral Home with entombment in Henderson County Memory Gardens.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a Mason and a World War II Navy veteran.
Mr. Chumney, the husband of Dorothy McDaniel Chumney, also leaves two daughters, Lawanda Taylor of Clarksburg and Mary Sue Brown of Lexington; two sons, Johnny Chumney and James Chumney, both of Lexington; three sisters, Opal Douglas of Parsons, Irene Lovin of Asheville, N.C., and Cordie Holmes of Lexington; a brother, Clifford Chumney of Jonesboro, MO; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Reba Ann Chumney McBride.
