Orville James (Jim) Halsey, Jr., 57, died April 26, 2002 in Phoenix. He was born Aug. 12, 1944 in Montgomery, W.Va.
Mr. Halsey worked for Lockheed Aircraft for 10 years and Magma Copper for 8 years. He resided in Payson for the past 15 years, and was last employed at Payson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Diana Halsey, daughter Kimberly Ann Thomas, and son-in-law, Stacey Thomas; grandson Timothy Thomas; brothers, Gene Halsey, Alvin Halsey and Larry Halsey, of Mesa, and Ray Hall of WVa.; sister Nancy Howe of S.C.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., May 1 at Payson Christian Church, 501 E. Rancho Road in Payson. Interment will follow at Mountain meadows Memorial Park.
