JOHN BLAIR, 86, RETIRED FARMER, CLAIMED BY DEATH

John Blair, 86, retired farmer, died at his home on Coshocton Route 3, at 4:30 a.m. today. Death was due to complications.

Mr. Blair was born Aug. 17, 1855, in Old Washington, Guernsey County, the son of Alexander and Nancy Blair. On April 3, 1878, he was married to Emma Howell who died in 1880. He was married Nov. 1, 1883 to Roxanna Bowman, who died in 1934.

Survivors include, Mrs. George Stiner, Fresno Route 2 and E. J. Blair, Buffalo, O., children of the first marriage; Mrs. Leslie Porteus, Coshocton Route 2, Mrs. G. R. Kreis, Ashland, Mrs. Archie Lapp, Conesville Route 1, Mrs. Mary McMillin of the home, J. W. Blair, West Lafayette, H. D. Blair of Canton and I. F. Blair of Fresno Route 2, children of the second marriage; three half-brothers, S. S. Oliver, Cambridge, G. M. Oliver, Buffalo, O., and Nixon Oliver, Winterset, O.; 24 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the home, Friday at 1:30 p.m., Rev. Russell Hoy will officiate. Burial will be at Bolivar, O.

Friends will be received at the home.
