"ONEIDA CASTLE---Mrs. Edna A. Foley, 77, of 24 State St. owner-manager of the Old Vernon View Nursing Home, Vernon, from 1962 until her retirement in 1962 died yesterday in Faxton Hospital, Utica, after a brief illness. She was born in Utica, the daughter of Frank J. and Gertrude Rubin Mullen, and attended Utica schools. In 1920, she married Albert Antes. Mr. Antes died in 1931. In 1942, she married John Foley. Mr. Foley died in 1952. After her retirement, Mrs. Foley made her home in Oneida Castle. She was a member of St. Helena's Church, Sherrill, and a former member of the National Nursing Home Association. Mrs. Foley leaves four brothers, Frank and Paul Mullen, both of Utica, John, of Oneida, and Michael Mullen, of Vernon. The funeral will be at 9:30 Friday from the Malecki Funeral Home, Vernon, and at 10 from St. Helena's Church, Sherrill. Burial will be in St. Helena's Cemetery, Oneida.
