Josephine S. Brady 1916 - 2012

Mrs. Josephine S. Brady, 96, of Tallahassee, FL, went to meet her Lord on Tuesday, December 4, 2012.

She was born October 16, 1916 in Gadsden County, FL.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her two daughters, Jeanne (Jim) Griffin and Vickie (Jim) Gunn. Mrs. Brady is also survived by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

The service will be at 12:00 EST Saturday at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Riggins Road Chapel (877-8191), with burial at Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Florida Baptist Children's Home, 8415 Buck Lake Rd., Tallahassee, Fl, 32317.

Mrs. Brady was a homemaker and had worked as a seasonal employee at the Florida State University Bookstore. She loved to read and study her Bible and read for pleasure. She had a passion for sewing, cooking and various crafts. She was known for her pound cakes and cornbread. She was a charter member of Parkway Baptist Church of Tallahassee, Florida.

She was predeceased by her husband and soul mate of 69 years, Clifford H. Brady. They are now together again. She is also predeceased by her son, Terry P. Brady. She was the last survivor of seven children.
