Jimmy L. Bozeman, 72, died Wednesday, August 20, 2008, in Tallahassee. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Saturday, August 23, at Evangel Assembly of God Church, 2300 Old Bainbridge Rd., Tallahassee, with burial at Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT today at Bevis Funeral Home (850-385-2193). Jimmy was a long time resident of Tallahassee and was retired from Florida State University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He is survived by one daughter, Zelda Gurka (and her husband Paul); two grandchildren, Ryan and Sean Webster; brothers, Lonnie and Jon Bozeman; his sisters, Patsy Culpepper, Betty Hodge, Judy Smith, Vivian Hutto; and numerous nieces and nephews.
