Tessie Mae Brockman, age 48, mother of Richard C. Brockman, of Madison, died last Thursday in Tallahassee Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She spent most of her life in Tallahassee. She is survived by her husband. Otis C. Brockman, and a daughter, Miss Mary Ann Brockman, of Tallahassee, son Richard C, and grandson John Wesley Brockman, both of Madison; her mother, Mrs. J. M. Smith, of Tallahassee; three brothers, W. P. Smith and W. R. Smith, both of Tallahassee; and Y. E. Smith, of Lake Harbor; and two sisters, Mrs. J. E. Stanley, of Madison and Mrs. Q. C. Gillette, of Ft. Pierce. Services were held Saturday at Culley’s Funeral Home in Tallahassee with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Madison Enterprise Recorder September 9, 1960
