Esther M. Agan 94, of Martinsville, died Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at the Franklin United Methodist Home Community. She had lived in Martinsville since 1977, moving from Indianapolis. The daughter of the late William and Anna Meyer, she was born on July 14, 1913 in Indianapolis. She married Kent E. Agan who preceded her in death. Mrs. Agan was a retired homemaker and loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Martinsville.
Survivors include two daughters, Ruth A. (Art) Messer of Greenwood, Mary L. (Rance) Poehler of Morgantown; a son, William Kent (Cathy) Agan of Martinsville; one brother, Elmer Meyer; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Two brothers, Raymond & Frederick Meyer, three sisters, Wilma Eaves, Irma Weiss and Helen Abbott and granddaughter, Christy Poehler precede her in death.
Services were entrusted to G.H. Herrmann Funeral Homes of Indianapolis, Indiana.
