Mrs. Alexander was born on Sept. 3, 1924, in Poynor, the daughter of Jim Hogg and Thelma Richards Dickerson, and passed away Feb. 3, 2013, in Tyler. Mrs. Alexander was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during World War II.
Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by her husband, A.B. Alexander.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriner's Hospital, 3100 Samford Ave., Shreveport, La., 71103.
