Mrs. Green was born Aug. 20, 1910 in the Lilbert community of Nacogdoches County and died on Friday, Aug. 20, in a Nacogdoches hospital.
She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church of Houston. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Albert Byron and Ila Owen McKnight; her first husband, Burris Pate; son, Wayne Pate; her second husband, John F. Green; brothers, J.L. McKnight, Buren McKnight and Curtis McKnight and sister, Gladys Caver.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Byron and Wanda McKnight of Nacogdoches; sisters-in-law, Connie McKnight of Barnum and Bobbie McKnight of Orange and numerous nieces and nephews.
