She was the daughter of Josiah BLODGETT and Jemima Bridget (Nutting) BLODGETT.

Married: John Chaney, (Sr), March 4, 1784, Dunstable, MA.

They raised a large family. Her husband served in the American Revolution, and a grandson, Josiah Blodgett CHANEY's app in 1892, for membership into the Sons of Amer. Revolution, in Minneapolis, MN, he designated his grandfather, John Chaney, as "Jr" and his great-grandfather, as John Chaney, "Sr".
Abigail was widowed by 1850 Wilton, ME census, age 85, and living with a daughter, Susan C. GOULD, and her husband, Asa GOULD.
