WALNUT SPRINGS -- Stella Callaway, 96, a homemaker, died Friday, May 19, 2000, at a Greenville nursing facility.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday at Lawson Funeral Home. Burial: Oak Grove Cemetery in Walnut Springs. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Stella Callaway was born on March 25, 1904, in Walnut Springs, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Callaway, in 1991.
Survivors: Son, Billy Callaway and his wife, Elna Rose, of Arlington; daughter, Lois Jean Mounce and her husband, Harold, of Greenville; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
