Margaret Mae Farris, 86, of Goodyear died Jan. 8, 2009, in Surprise.

Mrs. Farris was born June 15, 1922, in Taylor, Texas. She moved to Arizona in December 1993. She belonged to St. Catherine's Altar Society in Kamiah, Idaho, the Clearwater Rebekahs, the Kooskia Garden Club and the Idaho County Extension Club. In Goodyear she was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Vance Miles.

A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. John Vianney Catholic Church. A Mass will then be celebrated with the Rev. John Herman officiating. A service of remembrance will be held in Clearwater, Idaho, on June 20. Interment will be in the Clearwater Cemetery.
