Ernest E. Baca, 44, of Lakeside passed away Friday, May 2, 2008, at a Phoenix hospital.
He was born December 27, 1963, at Snowflake. He was raised and attended school in Holbrook. He worked as a laborer in the construction industry. His hobbies included fishing, golf, wood working and jewelry making. He was a kind and loving person who was always available to help other people. He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include two sons, Mathew Baca of Pennsylvania and Chris J. Baca of Mesa; his mother and stepfather, Vangie and Jerry Johansen of Lakeside; two sisters, Dianna and husband Leonard Gallegos of Show Low and Deborah Raynoso of Brea, CA; a brother, Richard Jeff Hubbell and wife Jennifer of Casa Grande. Several neices and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Viewing will be Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the mortuary. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 7th at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Show Low. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Gil Mangampo at 10:00 A.M. Thursday May 8th at St. Rita's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Show Low Cemetery.
