1943-2007

David L. Fauth, 64, of Oswego passed away Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Rush-Copley Medical Center. He was born January 4, 1943 in Aurora, IL.

Dave was employed by Clark Food Service. He was in the food service industry for over 40 years. He had been a member of numerous food service and local community organizations. He was a lifelong member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Aurora, IL. Dave married Susan Johannessen on May 15, 1965 at St. Joseph Church in Aurora, IL. He was a strong supporter of Oswego High School sports. Dave also enjoyed his many trips to northern Wisconsin. His passions in life were spending time with his family, friends, and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Susan (Johannessen) Fauth of Oswego; his five children, Amy (David) Moon of Longwood, KY, Michael (Cynthia) Fauth of Plainfield, IL, Andrew (Paula) Fauth of North Aurora, IL, David (Stacey) Fauth II of Louisville, KY and Cynthia Fauth of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren, Allie, Madi, Teddy, Katie and another grandchild on the way in December; his mother, Naomi Fauth; his three brothers, Robert (Charlotte) Fauth of Indian Wells, CA, James Fauth of North Aurora and Dennis (Phyllis) Fauth of Tomahawk, WI; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Fauth; his mother-in-law, Olga (Daleiden) Johannessen; and his father-in-law, Michael J. Johannessen.

Funeral from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY will be Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at 9:30 AM to Trinity Episcopal Church at 10 AM. Fr. Charles DeKay will officiate with interment at Pearce Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 31, 2007 from 2 PM until 8 PM at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, 630-631-5500. www.daleidenmortuary.com.
